Did you go Suzen?
It was an interesting night - although I don't think the promised Nina Hagen appearance/artwork ever showed (unless she arrived and left VERY early.)

Tue, March 8, 2005 - 4:50 PMi did go but i was disapointed :( with the presentation of the work and it all seemed poorly planned. not worth the 7bucks they charged. i was really disappointed that nina did not show too, i love her. maybe i was hoping for too much, not a "real" bruise in sight. -

Re: Black and Blue - LA - 3/5/05
Wed, March 9, 2005 - 8:04 AMIt is kind of a random little gallery - run by one woman - but it's nice that she attempts to foster some sort of art/performance scene.
My photos had some 'real' bruises in them. But (on the subject of real) I was disappointed that they didn't include the media on the title tags for the work. My sculptural pieces had 'real' blood and human fetal tissue in them and when that's not easily found in the media description it loses a certain amount of depth.
I had fun though. :)
